What should be noted when packaging food bags?
During the design process of food packaging bags, many times due to minor oversights, the resulting food packaging bags are not neat. For instance, patterns or text may be cut off, or the connection may not be good, or the color may be cut off off. In many cases, this is because of some design errors. When confirming the design draft of food packaging bags, we should pay attention to several small tips to help you have a smooth process when customizing food packaging.

Note: The patterns, text, etc. on the design layout of food packaging bags must be 1cm away from the cutting edge to avoid being cut during the cutting process. The text must be transformed into curves or framed. Do not use system characters in the text. If you do, it will cause white nodes at the intersections of strokes. After converting the text into curves, please pay attention to whether there are any line skipping or overlapping misspellings between characters or lines. Do not use overprint coloring for black text.

Second point: The color design of food packaging bags cannot be based on the color printed on the screen or printer. When customers make them, they must refer to the percentage of the CMYK color chart to determine the color filling. At the same time, it should be noted that the CMYK chromatograms produced by different manufacturers may vary in the same color block due to factors such as the material used, the type of ink, and the printing pressure.

The third point: For the same grade of food packaging bag design, there will be color differences in different printing processes. A color difference of within 10% is normal (due to the fact that the ink volume control may vary each time). For large machine printing, one aspect may be overlooked. If an old grade needs to be reprinted, to avoid excessive color differences, only the digital color samples provided by our company can be referred to. Color differences that occur in printed products of different times cannot be used as a reason for returns.

Fourth point: After the food packaging bag design draft is completed, there is no need to draw cross lines or cutting lines. Two invisible line frames can be used as production dimensions and bleed lines, 92mm×56mm. After cutting, it becomes 90mm×54mm (i.e., 1mm bleed is reserved on each side). If there are any special size requirements, please specify them particularly in the order and the uploaded documents.

The fifth point: The surface level of the background pattern or background image of the food packaging bag design should not be less than 10% to avoid the inability to present it when printing the finished product.
