Wet Pet Food Retort Pouches

Introduction

Retort pouches let wet pet food be sterilized inside the package, replacing cans with a lighter and easier-to-store format. The laminate has to endure high heat and pressure without delamination.

These pouches use heat-resistant PET, PA, foil and CPP layers designed for retort processing at up to 121 °C. Tear notches make them easy to open and they are lighter to ship than cans.
